Jason Hagensick

Jason Hagensick, President and CEO of the YMCA of South Palm Beach County, leads a highly engaged group of volunteers and cause-driven staff in service to the communities of Boca Raton, Delray Beach and Boynton Beach, as well as the larger County of Palm Beach (FL). The YMCA of South Palm Beach County proudly serves more than 40,000 people annually in programs focused on youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.
Through numerous partnerships and collaborations, with organizations big and small, the Y ensures all people have equitable access to the essentials needed to become thriving members of our shared community.
Jason’s passion is to strengthen the community while helping people achieve their potential – physically, mentally and spiritually. Through his many years of service in the YMCA, Jason has held leadership positions in Texas (Corpus Christi and San Antonio), California (Orange County and Long Beach), at the YMCA of the USA (Chicago, IL), and now in Southeast Florida.
Active in the community, Jason is a member of numerous Chambers of Commerce, serves on the Executive Committee of the Boca Raton Bowl, and participates on a number of community advisory councils. He is a graduate of Leadership Boca, volunteers annually as a Habitat for Humanity CEO Builder, and recently one of eight “community dancers” that supported the George Snow Scholarship Fund Ballroom Battle. Jason earned his Bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University Corpus Christi and is a graduate of the YMCA of the USA’s Leadership Symposium.
At the State level, Jason recently completed three years as the Chief Volunteer Officer of the Florida State Alliance of YMCAs - representing all 17 Florida YMCA associations.
Jason is committed to ensuring the YMCA of South Palm Beach County achieves its mission. He is a proud father, husband and community leader who enjoys spending time with family and friends, supporting his kids’ activities, is a mediocre golfer, and enjoys all things Texas.
Through the dedication and support of volunteers and staff, the YMCA of South Palm Beach County continues to broaden its reach and effectively drive its mission of serving youth and families in South Palm Beach County, while strengthening the overall community.
