Founded in 1972, the newly renovated Peter Blum
Family YMCA of Boca Raton offers one of the most comprehensive
and affordable health and fitness offerings for the entire
family!
Hundreds of fitness classes, sports programs
and training courses are available throughout the year. From
mommy and me swimming classes for infants and full day
preschool program to water exercise and therapy classes for
seniors, the Y offers something for everyone. The Exceptional
Child Programs offer after school and camp programs for
children and teens with disabilities. Sports programs,
including soccer, basketball, baseball and swimming are
available for children and adults. |

The newly renovated and expanded facility
includes a full-size, 7,200-square-foot gymnasium, a
second indoor pool, a new 7,000-square-foot fitness
center, two new preschool classrooms, boys' and girls' locker rooms,
a computer room, library, multipurpose room, and an expanded
lobby area with cafe.

Child Watch
Child Watch offers age appropriate activities for young
children. There is a
two-hour time limit for the Child Watch
programs.
Members with a Family Membership: no charge; Members with an Adult Membership: $5 per month; Program Participants, $5 per visit.
Monday - Friday mornings 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Monday-Thursday evening 3:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Friday evenings 4:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Saturday morning 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Playground Usage
Due to the rules
and regulations set forth by our child care licensing agency,
the Health Department of Palm Beach County, the YMCA’s
playgrounds are restricted between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and
6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The playground area is to be
used by children enrolled in the licensed YMCA Child
Development Programs.
The hours
designated for playground use for the YMCA Members are as
follows:
Monday-Friday
6:30 p.m.-dark |
Saturday
8:00 a.m.-5:45 p.m. |
Sunday
12:00 p.m.-4:45 p.m. |
Note:
Children must be accompanied by
a member guardian when using the playground area(s).

Field Usage
Families and
individuals may use YMCA fields during non-program times.
Field usage changes weekly, based upon programming. A daily
schedule of field hours can be picked up at the member
services desk.
